Born in Bulgaria but raised in Italy since age 3, Italian is my true mother tongue—I’ve lived and breathed it daily. As a polyglot fluent in 4 languages (and learning more!), I understand the challenges of language learning firsthand. So far I've had 2 lessons with Martin. I am a beginner and I know it is not easy to know where to begin with someone like me. To his credit, Martin has been patient in these meetings, and has identified concepts that I need to address right away. He explains things when making corrections. He gave me some homework, which I appreciate, because although I can be self-directed to some degree, it is nice to have structure when preparing for a class. I plan on taking more classes with Martin!
