你好，我是嘉玲。 Hi, I am Jialing. I am a Chinese native speaker and I am currently living in the UK. I’ve been teaching Chinese for over 6 years, teaching learners from Year 3 to adults, both in schools and universities in the UK.
I believe that Chinese learning should be engaging, meaningful and enjoyable. In my lessons, I prioritise interaction, clear scaffolding and real-life use of the language, so that students feel supported, confident and motivated to speak. Nothing makes me prouder than seeing beginners grow in confidence and develop a genuine interest in the Chinese language and culture.

Jialing was very fast to accpet the class and prepared a document to talk over Chinese food we both like.
The conversation flowed really well and we finished a 1 hour talking class in what felt like 20 minutes.
I would recommend Jialing to anyone looking to practice conversational Mandarin. Although she can also teach HSK too if that's what you are interested in.
