Hello, My name is Oduko Ositadimma. I am a Language Teacher, Author and a Content creator. I have been teaching for over 10 years. I have taught in different primary/secondary schools and language centers. I studied languages and linguistics. I did my Masters in french as a foreign language. I am also a DELF DALF examiner. Teaching and learning is a way of life that demands patience, perseverance, care, humility, honesty, open-mindedness and understanding. Teaching a language even demands more and it's not something one just starts doing spontaneously, it's something that has to be there somehow, it has to be nurtured. This is what I have carried and nurtured in me for a long time and it is that which defines me.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
I like to transform my lessons into an immersion programme, so from the very first minute I teach using the target language with of course effective demonstration. I use the modern foreign language curriculum as a guide. I also use images, questioning technique and authentic materials (video clips,songs, newspapers etc). Usually on the eve of the session I would send a brief explanation (pragmatic and linguistics objectives, lesson plan and keywords) of the lesson to the learner but in the learner’s language. To help the learner grow in confidence I do role plays and also let the learner teach in a flipped-class setting. Every lesson has both a final task and a plenary.Meu material de ensino

Teacher was punctual and very supportive! Even though I wasn’t confident in speaking Igbo He Made me feel comfortable with speaking and helpful in correcting me. This was just my trial lesson but I’m excited to learn more.

I love my Igbo teachers approach to adult learning. And his ability to use a diverse number of immersive tools to help me grow in my understanding and pronunciation. All sharing tricks to help me remember how to pronounce longer and newer words.
I look forward to future lessons and its impact on growth in reading, writing and speaking Igbo.
