Tomo I.

This is my 2nd conversation practice lesson with Tomo-sensei, and I really recommend him! He is patient, calm, and intuitive teacher. When I have difficulty expressing myself, he picks up immediately on what I want to say and teaches me phrases I can use next time in such situations. He encourages you to speak a lot so you can practice, and all the corrections and suggestions can be found in the google doc he makes. I look forward to more lessons with him!

Tomo Sensei is a great conversation partner who always corrects my mistakes in a friendly and understandable way. I've learned a lot from him already and plan to continue practicing with him.

I started taking lessons with Tomo-san to improve my speaking skills, as it is my biggest flaw for now. Tomo-san was very pleasant to work with and naturally provided conversation topics. He actively writes down mistakes to review after the lesson. Highly recommend :)

Working with Tomo this past year has been extremely helpful in my Japanese studies. He is very engaged throughout our 60 minute lessons, uses lots of webpage support during the lessons, and is very encouraging. Tomo I. has been very helpful. He uses the Genki textbook for teaching lessons, but he also engages in general conversations so that you can naturally practice what you have learned. The lessons are nothing but informative and engaging, and he is very skilled. I highly recommend this teacher.
