My extensive professional and personal background in linguistics, which has encompassed 14 years of study in 10 foreign languages, has provided me with a holistic insight into second language acquisition. Furthermore, my professional ballet training provided me with a unique insight and perception into how dance and language learning overlap as means of expression, where the ability to pay attention to body movements, transitions and music has strong parallels to the skills required to excel in speaking, listening, writing and reading. In the lessons, I employ the most up to date techniques, methods and tools in a relaxed and flexible learning environment where the language learning process is an enjoyable one. I believe the best way to achieve this is to tailor the lesson structure and approach to the individual student depending on which way they learn best and what is relevant to their lives.
I value all my students’ time highly and therefore look to use it in the most efficient and effective way possible for them. Fundamentally, my lessons focus on acquiring a new language and then applying it to its fullest potential.

Sebastian has been a teacher for our 6 year old for most of the year and he has been a great gift to our family. As parents who had a need for online tutoring in a few subjects including other languages ( multilingual family living internationally ) we have met with a variety of teachers and Sebastian has stood the test of time most favorably. Sebastian's sensitivity, intelligence and broad ability to appreciate, make him likely to adapt well to the specific needs of a wide variety of learners. His personal interest and experience in language learning makes him well attuned to the learner's needs at any level, and he brings a breadth of personal interests that can also be helpful in the language experience. Besides being a professional teacher with a deep understanding of the language learning experience, we found him easy to communicate scheduling matters and responsive between classes if you have a question. I want to offer more insight but space limited. Will put it in next review.

I have been studying Hebrew with Sebastián for a few months now. He is the best! Not only are our lessons fun, engaging, and useful, but Sebastián is also extremely patient and a great teacher. I look forward to every lesson and I’m so happy I found him!

I just had my second Spanish class with Sebastian, and I’m really impressed! He’s professional, explains everything clearly, and really takes the time to listen to my needs.
