I have been teaching Japanese for about 7 years. First, I taught Japanese in Egypt at two universities and the Japanese Cultural Center(Japan Foundation Cairo office). Now I am teaching Japanese for students who want to proceed to the next level of education in Tokyo. I had a fantastic trial lesson with Murakami-san. From the beginning, he created a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. He was encouraging and provided useful feedback in English and Arabic, which are useful references for improving my Japanese. He was super helpful, giving great feedback in English and Arabic—really useful for better memorization of words. I immediately booked more classes after the trial.

The last half a year with Murakami-san was super enjoyable, I recommend his lessons to everyone. : )
The lessons are characterised by variety, great sense of humour, attention to details and cultural tidbits. Whatever your needs are - be it grammar, listening or simply conversation, Murakami-san is your guy.
I was very lucky to find him as a first teacher, can't wait to continue in 2022!

We did fill in the blank questions that involved grammar, kanji, and vocabulary practice. There was a lot of kanji and vocab that I didn’t recognize, so I’m grateful for the materials I have for practicing now. I will study everything unfamiliar and prepare for the next meeting! Always a great time with Murakami sensei.

Murakami Sensei is an excellent teacher - very patient, great to talk to, and puts in a lot of extra work outside of lessons as well. I am confident that, through his teaching, I was able to pass the JLPT N3 this year, and will continue working with him as I move toward the N2 level and eventual fluency
