Sneha Jha

Sneha is a really great tutor. She is very knowledgeable in both Hindi and English but also humble and respectful toward her students, which can be surprisingly difficult traits to find in a language teacher. She gives corrections right away and gives multiple examples of the same type of construct to ensure understanding. She also gives helpful instruction on pronunciation, because even if your grammar is perfect, if your pronunciation is terrible then no one will understand you!

Thanks for being patient when I can't remember things and for celebrating little wins with me. It can feel a bit lonely learning by myself at home so it's great to have a smiling, welcoming person like yourself to check in with and help keep me motivated ☺️.

its always a great class with Sneha, we are able to do almost all the class without much English, and she checks up on past vocab, encourages me to try, gives me HIndi spelling and good explanations.

I had a great first session with Sneha today. She encouraged me to speak and made full use of the hour, which I truly appreciated. She did an excellent job keeping the conversation flowing, especially impressive given my difficulty expressing myself.

I'm glad I found Sneha ji! She always has new topics for conversation practice and she gently corrects my mistakes and teaches me new words. She gives me homework that makes the learning and practice fun.
