Hi, I’m Jo Katsani — a passionate native German teacher with over 16 years of experience. I was born in Germany and raised in Greece, so I speak both German and Greek as my native languages, and I’m fluent in English.
I hold a degree in German Philology and Literature, and throughout my career I’ve taught in public and private schools, led private lessons both online and in person, and volunteered as a teacher in Indonesia. I’m also a certified examiner for Greece’s state language exams.
I teach students of all ages — from beginners to advanced. Whether you're learning German for school, work, travel, or certification exams, I’m here to help you learn with confidence, structure, and joy.Minha atuação como professor

This volunteer position was one of the greatest experiences of my life, teaching these Bali children, learning about their culture, spending time with them, feeling their gratitude and their desire to learn. At the end of this beautiful trip I felt so blessed and that these children taught me more than I could ever teach them.

Frau Katsani is adept german teacher and also very understanding and able to deal with difficult situations. Both of my children are students of Georgia's -- 15 yo and 13 yo. They both benefit a great deal from german lessons with her.
