I am a native Chinese speaker and an Excellence Reward Teacher on italki.com. My major is English and I have been teaching English and Mandarin Chinese in a public high school for thirty years. I am interested in language teaching very much, especially teaching foreigners Chinese. My Chinese is standard .
As a teacher, I am patient and supportive. As always, I am prompt .
Tips for selecting a good Chinese teacher:
1. Choose a teacher from Northen China.
2. Check if the teacher can tell zh from z, sh from s, ch from c, n from l. Actually many teachers
can't.
3. Make sure the teacher can do rhotic accent from letter r added to some nouns in spoken
Chinese.
I have plenty of time for students to choose from. What my students need is my first priority. I normally use the default platform, italki classroom, where I can share my computer desktop with you. Besides regular teaching, I also help with some special tasks like essays proofreading, job interviews, contracts,visa applications, translation, conversation recording etc.Meu material de ensino
