Daniel 🇮🇪

I've been working with Daniel for a few years now and really appreciate his willingness and flexibility to work on something I'm especially interested in. I also really love how helpful he's been in helping learn to hear and use more of a Cois Fharraige dialect.

Daniel is the BEST Irish teacher. Listen! He is the BEST Irish teacher. He is passionate about teaching his native language and it shows because of the time and care he puts into teach lesson. He has power point slides, notes, etc. Each lesson is meticulous.

Great conversation practice with Daniel! I wish our schedules were more compatible so I could take classes with him more often. He is an excellent teacher. He is very patient, but he also points out, in a very gentle way, when I say something incorrectly, and he shows me how to say it correctly. He doesn't interrupt at the time, and he probably doesn't correct every mistake, but he does so often enough that I learn things when I am conversing with him. I really appreciate this, as many teachers allow me to make multiple errors without correcting me. I want to continue improving. I hope I get more chances to do lessons or conversation practice with Daniel soon.

Daniel is such a natural teacher and so well prepared I want to only leave him terrible reviews so that nobody else ever catches on to how good he is! But honesty compels me to give him the highest possible ratings: he is prepared with some of the best produced materials I have ever seen, he is knowledgeable and helpful and encouraging and he's patient, which is helpful for when I've forgotten a word for the 400th time. I can't more highly recommend Daniel for work on Irish, especially if you're a beginner like me.

It was a great first lesson with Daniel. He got down to the technical details of the language that I skipped over because I had learned the language on my own. He was good at explaining the concepts and made sure I understood before we moved on to the next thing.

My first class with Daniel went really well. He adjusted the lesson for my needs and language skills (which are hard to define!) and executed everything in such a great way that I had no other option but to follow along and dive into the beauty of the Irish language and its complex grammar rules. He was also patient with me being slow sometimes and made me feel cozy and motivated. Looking forward to our next class :) Go raibh maith agat!
