I've been taking grammar lessons with Mamiko-san for a little over a month now. I started out as a beginner (I just knew some hiragana and a few words and phrases) but now I'm able to construct full sentences and carry on simple conversations. I really love how the lessons are constructed -- the PowerPoints she has go in a very logical order, and they bring up concepts that were learned previously so I don't forget them. We usually go through a list of vocabulary at the beginning of each PowerPoint (I will read it, then she will say it so I know how to pronounce it and then I'll repeat it), then learn a couple of new grammar concepts, then combine the new words and grammar to construct full sentences and have conversations. There is a huge emphasis on speaking, which has made me a lot more confident in that skill. Then she will send the PowerPoint and an audio recording for review. Her lessons have been very helpful so far and I'm looking forward to taking more!

Teacher Mamiko is a trustworthy teacher. Not only being professional , she can also speak both English and Chinese which really helps me to understand the details of Japanese. We practiced a lot of conversation and she pointed out the littel mistakes i used to make. I felt a lot of progress after learning Japanese with her. Definitely recommeded and thank you!

Throughout our conversation, I can talk a lot of japanese. In addition, she also made a correction to my phrases, grammars so that my sentences are more natural. Really like this style so that I can talk a lot while learning practical grammars at the same time :)
