Hi, I’m Adrian! I’m a native English and Filipino speaker from the Philippines, now living in Japan. I have been working as a finance professional for almost 20 years. And started teaching part-time on italki in January 2025
I know how hard it is to learn a new language as an adult since I studied Japanese part-time for 7 years (now JLPT N2 level) and also studied Chinese (HSK 4), French, and Korean.

Very satisfied with my tagalog lesson with Adrian. He provided material that helped structure our lessons well and I learned a lot! He is always patient also in giving a lot of space to practice speaking, which helps. I look forward to booking more lessons going forward!
