Hi, I’m Adrian! I’m a native English and Filipino speaker from the Philippines, now living in Japan. I have been working as a finance professional for almost 20 years. And started teaching part-time on italki in January 2025
I know how hard it is to learn a new language as an adult since I studied Japanese part-time for 7 years (now JLPT N2 level) and also studied Chinese (HSK 4), French, and Korean.

I continue to be very satisfied with my lessons with Adrian every week. In this past lesson, we reviewed and edited a script that was written for a presentation and we discussed how to make it much more palatable to everyday people, the target audience of the presentation. This lesson helped me out a lot, and I really encourage folks to sign up for this class if they want to improve their fluency and speaking in different settings.
