I find lessons with Meg really relaxed and fun. She is very patient and supportive, and gives enough time to remember phrases I've already learned. She often brings some little fun ideas into lessons to make them more fun. Overall, highly recommend!

Meg is an exceptional teacher. She was born and raised in Japan, and she has experienced a variety of cultures as a result of traveling to many countries around the world. Because of that, she understands the nuances of Eastern and Western culture well. During lessons, this helps her bridge the gap in understanding between my preconceived notions and the reality of Japanese culture and language. In terms of lessons, she encourages a free flowing and fluid conversation structure, encouraging you to try new sentence formations and reinforcing previous grammatical lessons she taught you before. I thoroughly enjoy lessons with Meg because I am able to use and learn words and phrases I would utilize in day to day life. Starting from absolute zero, I would say my comfort with speaking Japanese has increased significantly, and I’m happy to say that the 10+ lessons I’ve taken with her were absolutely worth it!

Meg-san is an excellent teacher. Having lessons with her is one of the best parts of my week. She does a great job at setting up the lessons to meet your goals, integrating in new grammar/words, and making things fun and interesting. She is very encouraging which helps since sometimes language learning can be discouraging. I'm glad I was able to find Meg-san and I look forward to taking lessons with her into the New Year.
