Yuka is a great teacher who has really helped me improve my Japanese. Her explanations are thoughtful and thorough. It really helps me that the lesson is almost 100% in Japanese, it forces me to actually use Japanese and not depend on English at all. Yuka’s lessons are well planned and thought out and she always shares the notes from the class. 10/10 would recommend Yuka’s classes.

Yuka-sensei is a wonderful teacher—truly deserving of 5 ⭐️! After taking numerous lessons with her, I can confidently say she is knowledgeable, experienced, and incredibly talented at teaching. Her student-focused, engaging, and enthusiastic approach has been exactly what I needed to elevate my Japanese skills. Throughout our lessons, Yuka-sensei tailors the curriculum to my specific interests, helping me improve dramatically in areas like reading news articles, conversation, pronunciation (including proper accent), keigo, and penmanship (writing Japanese beautifully). Yuka先生 was so helpful! She helped me make an action once I shared my goals with her. My goal is to speak Japanese more natural and practice the grammar/vocabulary I learned, so she helped facilitate a plan. I am very comfortable with daily speaking, and I can get my point across, but that means no one would correct me if I make a small mistake, but Yuka先生 corrected a lot of little things I didn’t notice! I felt really comfortable and I’m excited to continue the lessons
