Катя (Katya)

I’ve been taking test prep classes with Katya for TORFL B1. She clearly knows the test really well, and is good at identifying things I need to work on. She also has lots of helpful advice on things like test-taking strategy, time management, etc. I feel much more confident about the test after working with her, and I’m sure she’s improving my score by a lot!

Я беру уроки у Кати уже несколько месяцев и очень ею довольна. Ее уроки всегда тщательно подготовлены. Она очень организованна: никогда не опаздывает и ничего не забывает. Она всегда очень профессиональна и серьезна в своей преподавательской работе, и ее уроки всегда имеют четкие цели обучения. Мы, изучающие русский язык, точно знаем, чего она пытается добиться, поскольку ее инструкции очень четкие.

Without exaggeration, Katya is the best language teacher I’ve ever had. She is exceptionally supportive, patient, creative, and attentive to detail. She uses a wide range of learning resources including videos, songs, and very interesting texts tailored to the student’s level. I started taking lessons with Katya about a year ago hoping to advance from A2 to B1. With her continuous help and support, now I am past the B1 milestone and moving towards B2 having significantly expanded my vocabulary, understanding of grammar, and speaking skills. The fact that we speak only Russian in the lessons is also extremely helpful.

Very good teacher I have learned a lot over the past year and have seen a great improvement in my language skills. She makes Russian learning easier, I highly recommend
