I've been learning with Juli for over a year and have seen an enormous improvement in my Spanish skills all-round. As many others have said previously, she is extremely patient and accessible during class. I always feel encouraged to speak and ask questions at any point during our classes. She has an established, long-standing career in education and that experience is obvious when working with her. She's a versatile teacher and can provide classes through many contexts - conversation, text review, structured instruction, etc. Gracias como siempre! 🤗

If you have a goal to speak and understand Spanish better, Julieta is the teacher for you. I started working with her because I wanted to be able to speak Spanish in Mexico while on vacation. I worked with Julieta for a little over a year before my trip to Mexico. Our sessions are not rigidly structured. We talk about many different topics and we have worked on many aspects of Spanish. What I find amazing every time is that when our lesson is over, I'm looking forward to the next one and want to continue to learn more. When I went to Mexico on vacation the last time it was a completely different trip than ever before. I was able to understand and converse with locals. I was the translator for our little group. I was very comfortable shopping, arranging taxis, and even talking with the pool guy who came to fix the pool. Simply stated, Julieta helps to make learning Spanish fun and effective. I highly recommend her.

I always enjoy and look forward to my classes with Julieta! I've been learning Spanish with her for about 2 years and she always brings interesting topics for us to discuss that tie into various grammar and vocab lessons. I learn something new in every single lesson with Julieta - not only is she a miracle worker when it comes to speaking, reading, and understanding Spanish, but she's also amazing at putting things in context; we talk about Argentinian and other Latin American cultures, politics, current events, history and literature. Would definitely recommend her for lessons; my abilities in speaking Spanish have grown exponentially in the couple of months I've had lessons with her!

I need a structured method of teaching. I need objectives and a time frame to achieve certain land marks. Right now I am not getting that. We have good conversations which helps me recall with my listening comprehension but I need homwork and review of what we conver for the week. Since this is a weekly class I must have material to keep practice what I learn. If this is not forthcoming I want to change my teacher. Where is the cirruculum? I have nothing to go by. This is not good enough for me as a learning.
