Hello, I’m Ayane! I was born in Tokyo and raised in Kyoto, so I can teach both standard Japanese and the Kansai dialect! I currently live in Finland and speak Japanese, English, and Finnish. I studied nursing at university and worked as a registered nurse at a university hospital. I enjoy helping people and supporting students in reaching their goals💪 I love traveling and have traveled throughout Japan and abroad, so I may have even visited your city before🌎 My hobbies include history, music, games, manga, and nature. I volunteered to help foreigners living in Japan improve their Japanese. I teach Japanese to my Finnish husband, so I understand the challenges Japanese learners face. I always teach slowly and carefully, so please feel comfortable learning with me! Let’s practice useful Japanese together! ◯ Grammar & Vocabulary📖 ・Lessons using your preferred textbooks(Genki / Nihongo Fun & Easy) ◯ Medical Japanese & Conversation🏥 I teach students working in the medical field. These lessons are great for practicing medical terminology and hospital phrases. Lessons are mainly conducted in simple Japanese, but I can also explain in English when needed.

I have have been having conversational lessons with Ayane and I also feel like my Japanese is quickly improving. Ayane is very kind and patient, and the conversations are never boring. I asked to practice grammar, so she also tailoring our classes for that. I'm very happy with the lessons! 嬉しい

Ayane is very friendly, warm, and easy to talk to! I was nervous at first, but she made me feel comfortable right away & our conversation flowed naturally. She genuinely listened & even showed me a crab seasonal chart when I mentioned my upcoming Hokkaido trip & how excited I was to eat crab, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch 😊 The lesson felt relaxed, fun & encouraging. I’d happily book with her again!
