Hello! My name is Adam and I'm an Englishman, from the northern city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. These days, I live and work in Germany, working as an international school teacher. I have over 7 years experience of teaching, as well as achieving fully qualified teacher status from Newcastle University in 2019. Prior to my teaching career, I gained a BA in English and History from Liverpool John Moores University. Additionally, I am a qualified ESL teacher and have experience teaching English across a range of different countries and contexts.Minha atuação como professor
In 2014, I gained my ESL qualification at distinction level and moved to South Korea to teach English for 2 years. After that, I spent another 2 years working as an English teacher and personal tutor in Prague, Czech Republic. After these immensely rewarding experiences, I decided to make teaching my profession and studied primary school education at Newcastle University and achieved a PGCE and fully qualified teacher status. Language learning is one of the most challenging pursuits one can undertake but that doesn't mean it can't be fun, exciting, valuable and rewarding. This is what I aim my lessons to be. I’ve tried a few teachers for my daughter on italki. Some are not as qualified as claimed. Some are simply not capable. But not Adam. He’s got training and experience. And most of all, he’s taking every lesson seriously.
