Yazi Chinese

Yazi is a fantastic teacher, and I've really enjoyed my lessons with her. She's very prepared with different kinds of lesson materials every class, and she writes down notes/corrections in the PDFs, which are shared after class. The conversation practice has been really helpful for both practicing listening/speaking as well as learning to describe everyday situations idiomatically. She provides great examples too to help illustrate new vocabulary and grammar. Highly recommend!

YAZI 老师 is very nice, patient and cheerful. Her lessons were well organized and she made sure to make me more comfortable. I'm very happy with my first mandarin lesson with her.

My daughter is taking conversational Mandarin and Korean with Yazi. Yazi’s voice is pleasant and calm and she has good enunciation. She is very patient and good at asking my daughter questions to get to know her and find topics that engage her. During the lesson, she sometimes speaks in 3 languages (English, Korean, Mandarin) to help my daughter understand. Afterwards she provides the notes from the lessons. We are very happy with all her lessons so far and will continue to do more.

I always look forward to our conversations, and she pushes me to practice the grammatical structures taught in previous lessons. 谢谢雅子老师!

Another great class with Yazi. She used a document to type notes for me and transcribe (and revise) my self introduction. We also used a dual Korean/Chinese textbook, which is great for me. I study Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, so I prefer to study two together at once. She is patient, friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. I liked the mix of using the textbook but also talking a bit freely. It keeps things interesting and more practical. I will continue to take lessons with Yazi :) 감사합니다!
