With each lesson I start to feel more and more confident to just speak. Previously, I would worry about if what I said was 100% correct which only hindered my progress. However, with her encouragement I have started to embrace my mistakes—as I now understand that’s the only way to learn. She corrects and explains thoroughly, but always emphasizes the importance of trying first. Whether the lesson is tailored more towards free talking or textbook learning. I always finished feeling satisfied! 😊

It feels good to be back to taking lessons with Ms. Jiae! She understands my struggles and proposes solutions to overcome them.

Learning Korean has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and it's all thanks to the support and encouragement from Jiae. From the very first class, I felt a sense of joy and excitement learning Korean and that feeling has never faded. Each session is thoughtfully crafted—clear, well-paced, and tailored to help me genuinely understand and retain the language. Jiae has a rare gift in simplifying challenging grammar and pronunciation whilst making learning fun and engaging. What truly sets her apart is her unwavering kindness, patience, and understanding. Jiae creates a safe, warm and welcoming environment making it easy to ask questions and practice conversation without worrying about making mistakes. I'm always looking forward to our next lesson with the same eagerness I had at the beginning. If you’re considering learning Korean, you couldn’t ask for a better teacher than Jiae.

So far I took 4 classes with Jiae but it's very clear to me that there will be more! Jiae 선생님 is very approachable and friendly, she lets me speak without being afraid of doing mistakes. She is always prepared for the lessons with different materials, gives homework but doesn't overwhelm you with it. Also she is knowledgeable about the language, so she answers my questions in a very understandable and clear manner. 지애 선생님 감사합니다~

지애 선생님 is easy to talk to and took the time to understand my goals + tailored the lessons to my learning style. I also appreciate that she gives constructive feedback which has been very helpful for my improvement!
