I am very grateful for Irina. She gives me a lot of confidence when it comes to learning and studying in Russian. It is not an easy language to learn, especiallyBeing mono-lingual. However, because of her, I see a lot of improvement. 😄

Irina is a very competent and helpful instructor––with her help, I have passed the C1 exam for Russian and am currently preparing to take the C2 exam. Irina provides diverse, high quality materials for lessons and is actively invested in making sure that I achieve my language learning goals. Furthermore, Irina's background in linguistics and personal interest in language learning are a huge help. Irina's language competencies allow her to better understand issues that non-native speakers have and she is able to draw many helpful connections and insights between languages. Irina has a lot of experience learning languages herself, and this experience comes through in her teaching. Overall, I strongly recommend Irina as a language teacher––I feel that my Russian has improved significantly thanks to my classes with her which are always interesting, personalised, and, above all, informative.

Irene has a great intelligence that can provide you a reassuring sense that you are understood in your needs and in general. She seeks to make sure you can become as understood in the foreign language you seek greater knowledge of and even mastery of.

Patient and professional. Irina is able to teach and explain the language that allows me to fully understand the concepts that we are working on. She is always prepared and provides a variety of materials that reinforce what is taught in our lesson. She is always willing to answer questions and provides constructive feedback that progresses language learning.
