Ale Espinosa

Ale is a very thoughtful, helpful and easy going teacher. I have been working with her for over a year now and I am so thankful for her guidance and patience with me as I learn Spanish. She makes learning fun, accessible and she is very encouraging! If you are wanting to learn Spanish, I would highly recommend that you book a lesson with Ale. She always makes sure her students feel comfortable and capable when learning new concepts. My favorite parts of our lessons include conversational practice where we talk about various topics, pop culture, and interests. She is a very easy person to talk to and makes the difficulties of learning a new language more enjoyable while still pushing and challenging you as her student. :)

Ale and I have great conversations discussing a myriad of topics. She has helped me to understand the Mexican culture and its nuances. She has taught me local idioms to help me blend in on trips that I take to Mexico. Ale is very patient and insightful, helping me navigate through grammatical minefields and to understand why Spanish is phrased the way it is in many circumstances. She provides great learning tools and various activities. I highly recommend Ale as a great teacher to beginners as well as to advanced students.

Ale is always good to talk to! She is very positive, encouraging and kind, and is a very good conversationalist. I find that I always have things I want to say, even though I am usually a quiet person, but this is what I want and need in a language lesson. Ale provides support and help when I need it, but always encourages me to think of how to say what I want to say. I have really enjoyed my lessons with Ale, and I know she is helping me to improve in my ability to communicate in Spanish! Ale is a very good teacher!

I have had several clases with Ale now. She is great at keeping me talking through her thoughtful questions. She sends me interesting material to review for further discussion in future classes too. I definitely get to talk about different topics and explore new vocabulary in Spanish during our classes - all while getting corrections in a positive way to improve my abilities. I would recommend Ale for anyone wanting to improve their Spanish :).
