¡Hola! My name is Christy and I'm a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, currently I live in the United States, in California. English is my second language. I like hiking, italian food and classical music, because I'm also a musician of this genre.

In 2018, I finished my studies “Teaching Spanish as a Second Language” at the “Universidad Católica Andrés Bello” in Caracas, Venezuela.
On my lessons, I work with adult students, and I design a study program according to the needs and goals of the person.

My first lesson was great! She came prepared with materials to assess my level. I can tell that she is an organized, prepared, and patient teacher. She asked about my goals in order to make a plan for future lessons. I throughly enjoyed my class!

I've now taken 14 classes with Christy and she has been a great teacher! Each week we progress on what was learned in the class before and she gives me suggestions on how I can be practicing in-between meetings (ie. workbook pages). Its been a great experience and I look forward to attending class each week.
