I love the way that Jaime teaches! Not only does he come prepared with specific lesson plans based on what you need to work on but he also makes the process of learning so enjoyable. I feel like when I'm taking his classes I'm less concerned about the end goal and I'm more focused on enjoying the process. There's so much to enjoy when you're learning a new language and I really feel that in these classes. Muchas gracias Jaime. Jaime is an exceptional teacher. After my first class, I booked 10 lessons! The classes are always very engaging. If you are an advanced or intermediate student and want to dive deep into intellectual conversations, I highly recommend classes with Jaime. He asks very thoughtful questions that encourage me to express my ideas about different topics and provides useful comments and suggestions in a kind and supportive manner. I just booked another 10 classes!

I just started meeting with Jaime and I can’t wait to meet with him again. I’m learning Spanish, which is my goal, but I’m also having very interesting, uplifting conversations with him (in Spanish) and that makes it so much better.

Realmente fue un golpe de suerte encontrar a un profesor como Jaime que enseña con tanta pasión y entusiasmo. Posee un profundo conocimiento del lenguaje y la escritura. Sus clases son de tan alto calibre que me siento como si estuviera aprendiendo de un erudito universitario que también es súper amable y alentador. If you love language, words, and literature I promise that you'll adore his classes. He's also super cool to talk with if chatting is your thing!

Jaime is a rare type of teacher who really enjoys not just teaching his students, but learning from them as well. I love that all of our topics are unique, more complex things. I find that I'm learning about myself and topics in general, not just in Spanish, which keeps me engaged. Jaime provides topics to choose from for each lesson, along with questions to answer in writing ahead of the class. He's super easy to talk to and very open minded, and has a gentle way of correcting mistakes that doesn't feel harsh at all. Highly recommend - you can tell he really loves teaching and cares about his students.
