Hi there! I’m Amanda, a certified English as a Foreign or Second Language teacher from Illinois, USA. I specialize in teaching children and am known for my playful, friendly, and supportive teaching style. I love building caring connections with each student and helping them feel confident and excited about learning. My own experience learning two foreign languages—and living abroad—helps me connect with students from around the world. Every child learns best in a supportive environment where they feel safe to express themselves. My goal is to build confidence—not perfection, encouraging growth through positivity and play. I tailor each lesson to the child’s learning style, celebrate all progress (big or small), and gently correct mistakes as a natural part of learning. At the heart of my teaching is the belief that the true goal of language learning is communication. I help children express themselves clearly, connect with others and build confidence in real-world situations.
