I only learned basic Spanish in high school (USA) and was looking for more resources to become fluent. Shirley is an amazing teacher with amazing patience, and has tremendously helped my confidence in speaking Spanish after just a few lessons. My grammar and pronunciation have vastly improved with her help. She provides a comfortable environment for you to grow your language skills and provides lesson plans tailored to your abilities and language learning goals. I wish I connected with her earlier!

Shirley was a lovely teacher! She was able to adjust the lessons to specific things I wanted help with. She took great notes during the call, so I can refer to them later to keep practicing. She also explained specific concepts really clearly, and helped make sure I had the time I wanted to practice them during the class. Then she wrapped it up by making sure I had some good practice to work on before the next lesson. She's a great choice for your Spanish learning!

Shirley is an awesome teacher. If you are a complete beginner she's gonna walk you through the language with fun and easy steps. If you are a person like me who did some unstructured learning and has no idea where he is in the way of learning the language she's gonna estimate your actual progress and adapt her course to your needs. All the classes take place in a friendly atmosphere where you can just speak without worrying if you make a mistake. And as you will inevitably make mistakes, Shirley has an awesome way to correct you without interrupting: she writes down everything you say and highlights all the places you need to pay attention to. As for the learning materials, Shirley has an enormous amount of slides for various topics from grammar to interesting cultural facts. I was surprised when after my casual question about types of coffee in Spanish she found a slide dedicated exactly to that. In my opinion, if you are looking for the best Spanish teacher, you've found one!

Super lovely & bubbly teacher. Really knowledgeable and has a lot of resources at hand to teach & practice the exact things I want to learn :)
