Hi everyone, I’m Mana!
I was born and raised in Tokyo 🗼 and studied abroad in Irvine, California. I also briefly studied Fashion Business in Paris, and now am living in Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺.
I’m a Japanese tutor and also a life coach — which means I bring patience, curiosity, and encouragement into every lesson. My classes are relaxed and conversational, designed for learners who want to actually speak Japanese and enjoy the process.

I’m your conversation partner. When I studied abroad, I knew grammar but couldn’t speak. What helped me was having people who encouraged me to talk freely without worrying about mistakes. That’s the same space I want to give you.
In our lessons, you’ll practice speaking naturally, with gentle corrections only when needed. Thanks to my coaching background, I’m good at asking questions that help you express yourself more deeply. My goal is simple: to make Japanese feel enjoyable, natural, and part of your real life. - Conversation-focused: practice speaking freely without stress
- Gentle corrections: only when mistakes repeat
- Flexible & fun: bring any topic you enjoy (daily life, travel, work, culture, movies, etc.)
