Hello, my name is Masahiro. I participated in the Japan Foundation's ’Nihongo Partners' Program for 6 months as an assistant teacher at a high school in Indonesia. I currently work at a Japanese language school.
I was born and raised in Tokyo and live in Yokohama now, so I speak standard Japanese. My hobbies are mountaineering, running, photography and traveling all over the world. (I have travelled to more than 30 countries. Especially, I love rail travel with my backpack.) I have been involved in financial business for more than 30 years and have worked overseas in countries such as USA and Thailand. 日本語教育能力検定試験は2020年に合格、日本語教師養成講座を2021年に修了しました。日本語を教える事は勿論、日本のビジネスマナーや、文化についても教える事ができます。ビジネスの場面でも対応できる、知的で正しい日本語を身につけましょう。
I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in 2020 and completed the Japanese Language Teacher Training Course in 2021. As I have more than 30 years’ experience in business, I can help you learning not only Japanese language but also business etiquette and culture. I have had 30 lessons with Masahiro-sensei and my Japanese has really improved. I am sad that he will be traveling for the next 6 months but in March I will start lessons with him again and look forward to it. Have fun in Indonesia!

I really appreciate Masahiro-San’s guidance and instruction. He does a great job giving feedback, letting me try to write and use grammar and phrases on my own, and the showing me how I was incorrect or could say it in a more natural manner. I’m happy I found him on italki. I look forward to many more lessons.
