Más de 18 años de experiencia I never thought that teaching could be the right job for me, but - here I am - eighteen years and around a thousand of students later. At some point, I realised that teaching had become a passion. My professional experience before italki was focused mainly on exam preparation both in English (e.g. Cambridge, Trinity) and German (Goethe Institut, telc) and included - apart from the usual group and individual, intensive and regular courses - level-testing and organising mock exams. For several years, I also worked as an English examiner and corrector at one of the universities in Spain. I hold a C2 Certificate in Spanish (DELE).

I am very animated and in my classes I seldom use another language, as students use their native language as a cane which they never let go. Growing up I always had to translate a lot because I spoke 3 languages. I also have been teaching some of the languages to friends, and took foreign language classes as well in order to learn how to teach.
