Más de 17 años de experiencia I never thought that teaching could be the right job for me, but - here I am - seventeen years and around a thousand of students later. At some point, I realised that teaching had become a passion. My professional experience before italki was focused mainly on exam preparation both in English (e.g. Cambridge, Trinity) and German (Goethe Institut, telc) and included - apart from the usual group and individual, intensive and regular courses - level-testing and organising mock exams. For several years, I also worked as an English examiner and corrector at one of the universities in Spain. I hold a C2 Certificate in Spanish (DELE).

I am a certified Telc German Teacher. I can help you learn German and prepare for Goethe exams. My experience of teaching German has given me insight into the personality of many people. I am a successful German and English teacher and translator who enjoys the multicultural atmosphere of foreign language classes. I'm teaching in kindergartens (<- if you understand this you already know some German...HURRAHH), universities, schools and companies. Many of my students have done their Goethe-Exam and so far non of them have failed. German grammar can be tricky but my goal is to turn you into a fluent speaker and not into a grammar expert.

Through my work as an Aupair in which I practised German with Kids aged 6 to 10 and through my language studies at University I learned that you can only teach others if you are also willing to learn and consistently drive to better your own skills. From learning many foreign languages myself I have developed my own personal hacks and tips on how to most effectively learn a new language. I accept lesson cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours in advance. However, this depends on my current lesson demand and schedule therefore I will decide on that for each individual case.
