I'm happy to teach in English or Korean, whatever helps you to achieve your goals faster! In 2013 I spent the year teaching Korean to Russian / Korean children, it was a great experience and I really enjoy working with both kids and adults. PLEASE NOTE I only work with students over 16 years old.

Experienced more than 8 years, Specially in absolute beginners, TOPIK students & graduate students.. Before teaching Korean I taught English to Korean teenagers over 10 years in Seoul. I'm a TESOL-qualified teacher. Just before coming to Milan, I got a degree and a certificate in teaching Korean to foreigners. In Milan, I taught Korean at Universita Della Terza eta. My first students were beginners without knowing even the Korean alphabet. Most of all they were busy and could spend only one hour a week. After 4 times they could read and talk in Korean. On returning to Korea, I started to teach Korean at Yongsan Library. During my doctoral course, I taught a graduate student preparing TOPIK. She achieved a high score. At present, I teach Korean in Bangladesh.

I have created my own textbook, an amalgamation of the images and sentences with grammar points, which help the student speak and then develop sentences using everyday words and grammar. Quizlet, wordwall is used. My aim is to encourage students to speak in Korean and improve their confidence.

I have taught many students from all over the world and from the experience, I learned that every student has their own pace and style. During the first class, I talk to the students and figure out their needs and what their current level is. And then I decide how to teach according to the individuals. Enjoy a big promotion only for $18/hr! In 2016, while living in Brazil, I realized how many people were interested in the Korean language, but did not have a good place to learn it. This led me to open my own Korean language school. It was located in the city of Fortaleza. From 2016 to 2021 more than 400 students studied in my school. During this period I gained extensive experience in planning language classes, preparing didactic material, and teaching Korean for people who never had contact with Korean before. Later on, due to the pandemic, we switched our classes to online which also gave me experience in teaching using online technologies. Besides Portuguese, I also have experience teaching Korean in English and Spanish.
