My goal as a teacher is to guide you on your learning process so you can have a more meaningful experience. I like to take into consideration your background of studies, personality, preferences, and things you particularly like in life. I'm a huge defensor of pleasure while studying languages. That's why my method changes according to what you enjoy doing. However, to make the method efficient and consistent, I came up with strategies that follow the logic of how our brain works and how it usually keeps information to guarantee our survival. Each person has a different way of learning and a different goal so by discussing the learning process, we can find the right strategy for you.

In 2017 I started teaching on the internet, and in 2018 I moved to Russia, where I teach Portuguese to Russians and other people of other nationalities. I started off as an all-around private tutor for teenagers preparing for the Brazilian version of the SAT and moved on to the classrooms with the same goal but to a bigger audience. From there I slowly got more and more interested in languages and combining teaching and my newly discovered passion for languages was a natural step. CELTA certification acquired in December 2020. My experience started in 2018 in Peru where I taught English in two language schools for a year. In the meantime I applied to be a community tutor here at Italki where I have been teaching not only English but also Portuguese and Spanish. My passion for teaching only grew with the time so I took a CELTA certificate in the end of 2020 and this experience provided me with a solid base and opened the way in many aspects of my career.
