Greek 🇬🇷 & Turkish 🇹🇷 – Speak with confidence | Real conversations, real progress! I teach Greek and Turkish as a side-profession since I was 18 years old (for more than 19 years now). I have taken numerous courses regarding teaching and linguistics. I have a student-centered, flexible and interactive approach. I put a lot of emphasis on speaking and listening skills. I use solid, daily life examples and real-life situations to help my students grasp how the Greek/Turkish languages work, how Greeks/Turks think and how to apply it to their own experience. I have acquired a substantial set of techniques during my teaching experience. I have taught adults, children and groups.

German Speaking Tutor with 4 years of Teaching Experience on Italki I've been teaching languages here on Italki for the past 4 years. I have had over 100 students, each with different goals and needs. I am experienced in creating personalized learning materials for my students and making sure it is a lasting habit for them to study their target language. Language learning should be fun. So rather than learning unnecessary amounts of grammar, I encourage everyone to immerse themselves with the language via songs, videos, news and books. I believe language learning is simply the best way to broaden your sight of the world.

Learn Turkish with the story method. WHY I USE THE STORY METHOD Everything changed when I started learning English using the story-based method. In just six months, I made more progress than in three years of studying German. That experience convinced me that grammar-first learning does not create real speaking skills — stories and context do. This is why I teach using the story method. I believe it is the most effective way to develop natural understanding and communication. To adapt this method to one-on-one lessons, I also use images and structured questions to support the story.

Mostly Conversation Practice! Speak it till you make it! As a teacher I always try to figure out what each individual person needs to practice. That is why I like to have a simple conversation the first lesson and ask what the student wants to study and see what level they are in. I always try to make the lesson contents according to the students level. While teaching I always try to make sure my students speaks and expresses themselves as much as possible and I'll always encourage them and also fill in the blanks to give them a little push so they won't be stopping in the middle of the sentence.

Russian up to C2 with a TORFL Tester | Turkish for a Comfortable Life in Turkey My students know: • Where to find buckwheat in Turkey (and why condensed milk is easily found as "milk jam"). • How to recognize a "Russian smile." • Why "tomorrow" (yarın) in Turkish desn’t always mean "tomorrow." • What to expect on their exam, as I simulate test conditions and evaluate answers the way official examiners do. • What to say at the hospital and how to pass a driver’s test — saving a year of time and helping my students adapt to a new culture faster.

10+ Years of Teaching Experience with All Levels 📚 - BOOK NOW! I DO TURKISH LESSONS IN TURKISH & ENGLISH LESSONS IN ENGLISH - except for when necessary for grammar explanations at earlier levels. This is important because immersion is what makes you feel like you have to speak. I have been teaching and doing other language related work for about 10 years. I like to provide my students with many opportunities to practice speaking with various activities using different cues because I think using the language in speaking can be a very fulfilling experience for a learner. I find it important to use graded but natural language to provide the best type of exposure. All students from all levels are welcome, I have lots of experience teaching all levels.
