(n.) Institute, Agency 

Example: หน่วยงานรัฐ = State Agency

(n.) Superior, Boss 

In whichever context you would use “boss” in English, 
this is the Thai equivalent.

(n.) Registration, the act of registering

(v.) to approve (covers all types of approval)

(v.) to approve (under certain institutional restrictions or guidelines) 

Example: to 
approve the budget for a project
