Confident Language

Action-oriented verbs that convey authority and decisiveness. (e.g., will, achieve)

Using data, metrics, and examples for clear communication.  (e.g., 20% growth, exceeded target)

Speaking directly to the audience, avoiding phrases like 'I think' (e.g., We can deliver this project)

Focusing on strengths and solutions, minimizing limitations. (e.g., 'Scalable solution' instead of 'Limited storage')

Expressing ideas clearly and directly, avoiding unnecessary words. (e.g., 'We're on track' instead of 'We believe we are likely to meet the deadline')

Expressing ideas clearly and directly, avoiding wishy-washy language (e.g., "We recommend this approach" instead of "Would this work?")

Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the topic at hand (e.g., referencing industry data or best practices)
