A lot of time/many time or much time I am always confused what expression to use : I need a lot of time or I need many time. It will take many time/much time or alot of time. Plese give me your advise/

A lot of time or much time are both grammatical. A lot of is a bit more casual than much , but more commonly used in declarative affirmative sentences. (This project will take a lot of time.) Much ... is used in questions or negative statements (How much money do we have? You don't have much time.) One uses many with things that are countable (He has many things to do. How many children do they have)
