Which is the best way to start learning Japanese? I've been reading around in the internet, watching videos and buying books, but all of them differ which is the first step to approach this language. If you have any recommendation please let me know, it would be amazing to get some help.

Learning a language is different for everyone! But as a basic approach towards Japanese I can recommend this; - Start by learning the kana (hiragana + katakana) - Always try to broaden your vocabulary, start practicing these words in kana as soon as you feel comfortable with it. It will help you recognize words. - start with the verb 'desu', create basic sentences using this - gradually start adding more verbs and grammar (sorry, can't really give an order you should do this in) - Always get back to creating sentences with what you have learnt, get them checked by someone on this website or a teacher! It will help you improve for sure. These are some of the pointers I can give. ^^ I hope they can help you in some way. がんばって!

Watching japanese dramas and anime is well known for a good way to learn japanese, but in my opinion, watching videos by foreign youtubers who live in japan or japanese fluent in English is also nice. Rachel & Jun, WhiteEnglishGirl, Other Ways of Life and PDRさん are quite brilliant youtubers! I hope my English does make sense and this will help you:-)
