Koreans don't celebrate Valentine's day though lots of Korean meet boy/girl friends at that day. So, people don't say "happy valentine's day". Historically, Japanese chocolate seller imported from western, and did marketing as if it is a day to give chocolate for a girl to a boy who she likes. He made a lot of money, and still chocolate companies are making a lot of money at that day.
