More Increased cleanliness have has contributed to a fall in the number of illnesses, thanks to investment in scientific research too. More work safety in work field have has also held back the number of fatal incidents and injuries back.
Also, the ways to have a good time is are gradually changed with the passage of time. Our entertainment, nowadays, is connected to provided by technological advices advances (like pc or mobile phone of the latest generation) or by taking a short trip during the week-end.
I consider more healthy how the ways our ancestors spent their leisure time to be more healthy! Today, the living way way of life is so has improved so much that it have been has lost some deep-rooted values of and many many important things.
PS: I agree, Nicola! There're some things which have improved over time, but we've also lost many important values. For example, people spend lesser time together as a family now due to a busy career, or just being distracted by computer games etc. We should strive to keep these important values alive! :)
