Hi there. My name is Aimee and I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I am TEFL qualified and very excited to meet and teach new people. I love to read, write, bake, travel and so much more. I love learning new things, in fact, I would love to learn how to play the piano. I have a 420-hour certificate, making me a qualified TEFL teacher. I plan to prioritize patience and kindness and I want to create a calm and student-centered environment where it is okay to make mistakes because mistakes helps us to grow and reach our goals. 20 Hour GA Level 3 Certificate in TEFL course - i-to-i TEFL - 2022I went to South Africa, Cape Town to partake in a 2-day course that put what I have learned about being a TEFL teacher into practice. I was among fellow TEFL teachers and we worked together to complete tasks. I was awarded this certificate for taking part of the course.
420 hour Advanced Diploma TEFL Course - i-to-i TEFL - 2022I spent a couple of months learning how to become a TEFL teacher. I had to complete tasks to demonstrate my ability to produce lesson plans for students which in turn has shown my ability to teach English as a foreign language. This certificate enables me to do that.

I really enjoyed the lesson. I needed to practice my conversational skills so we were talking about many topics. After the first lesson I can say that Aimee is very passionate about other cultures and knowing over all so it was the clear joy for me to have conversation with her and the one hour lesson really flew by. I could also revised some English terms and issues in my pronunciaion. Can't wait for our another lesson.

Hoy tuve mi segunda clase con Aimee. Disfruté de la clase. Elegí a Aimee porque quiero ser capaz de entender distintos acentos de inglés (no solo los predominantes) y porque quiero conocer sobre la cultura de Sudáfrica. Conversar con Aimee es agradable, ella sabe escuchar y también nutre la conversación. Cuando disfrutas de la conversación aprendes inglés sin siquiera darte cuenta, sin esfuerzo.
