I am from Seattle, Washington in the United States, but now I live in Korea. I love listening to podcastsπ§, reading about history and societyπ, and runningπββοΈ. My wife and I try to travel as much as possible because we believe traveling is one of the best ways to learn about the world.π

I got my English teaching certificationπ¨βπ« from the Seattle School of TESOL in 2015 while working as an English instructor at an adult education center in Seattle, Washington. I have experience teaching pre-school aged children, elementary to university students, and working adults. As a teacher, I believe it is my job to be a guide for students along their English learning journey to help meet their goals.β

I always do my best to bring enthusiasm to our lessons and listen to what you want to learn. In our lessons, I will give you materials before our lesson so you can get as much practice as possible really using English in our lesson. If you have a specific book and resource you want to use in our lesson, we can use that for our lesson. Otherwise, I will use news articles, podcasts, YouTube videos, and study guides I created for our lesson. π

I finished five classes with him and all of them were very informative and useful. His comments on my writing is precise and detailed. He also gives me useful advice about having a suitable mindset for learning language. I think, for a long term, a mindset is more important than memorizing a lot of vocabulary. He provide good questions for each classes and also receptive to my topic suggestion.
