Hi! My name is Giulia and I am a professional Italian language teacher for foreigners.
I started teaching Italian to foreigners almost ten years ago, when I was studying at the University for Foreigners of Siena, where I graduated in Linguistics and Teaching Italian as a second/foreign language.
The University for Foreigners of Siena gave me the opportunity to work as a teacher abroad. I taught in Canberra (Australia), in Córdoba (Argentina) and in the United States, in Miami!
I love teaching Italian but also I love learning new languages. I speak English, Spanish and some French.Me as a Teacher
Cerco sempre di capire bisogni e interessi dei miei studenti prima di creare un piano di lezioni e dò molta importanza all'uso della lingua, sia parlata che scritta.
Amo condividere la mia cultura e capire meglio tutte le altre culture.
I always try to understand my students's needs and interests before to create a lesson plan and I give a lot of importance to the use of the language, both oral and written.
I love to share my culture and to know more about other cultures.My lessons & teaching style
Cerco di portare sin da subito lo studente all'uso della lingua italiana, partendo dalle basi. Organizzo le mie lezioni sia con materiali didattici professionali, sia con articoli di giornale, canzoni, film, e così via. Dò la stessa importanze sia alla pratica delle competenze comunicative che alla grammatica, perché ognuna ha bisogno dell'altra.
I try to make the student speak Italian as soon as possible, starting from the beginning. I organize my classes both with professional materials and with songs, news, movies and so on. I think that grammar and comunication skills are equally important because both depend on each other.My teaching material

I've enjoyed several lessons with Giulia. My weakest skill is listening and I like that Giulia stays focused on speaking in Italian throughout the lesson even though it can challenging for me. She has a lot of patience. I encourage you to give her an opportunity to help you learn this beautiful language.
