Josey Sekine

I struggled a bit in today's class, made plenty of mistakes, and forgot some things I've already learned. Language learning has its ups and downs. But Josey-san was patient and supportive as usual. He simply provided corrections and reminders, and guided me along at a good learning pace. With his approach, I was able to enjoy the lesson and make progress despite the struggles.

A great class with an equally amazing teacher, who is patient, friendly and clearly has experience in teaching, his energy and motivation keeps me moving forward at a fast pace while making every subject clear and getting all my questions answered. I completely recommend it for anyone that’s interested in Japanese, specially since it’s very beginners-friendly.

Josey does a great job of helping you work through misunderstandings. He also gives examples of what to say to keep a conversation flowing. Additionally, his lessons have a great structure, but he is willing to change it on the fly. ありがとう！

Josey-san is a legend. Today I was struggling a bit, but he never skips a beat. Always patient and helps immensely when you are stuck. One thing that's really important as far as teachers are concerned is the clarity with which they speak, and Josey has a great voice that is both easy to understand and clear enough to listen to. Fantastic teacher, highly recommend him. Feels like I'm talking to a mate!
