My name's Julie, I'm a native English speaker from England. I love visiting different countries and learning about other cultures. I've enjoyed many years of travelling and teaching all over the world. I've helped to teach English to young students and adults in China, Senegal, Argentina and Morocco. As well as travel and adventures, my interests include photography, painting and calligraphy.Me as a Teacher
I'm a patient and understanding teacher. I know the best way to become fluent is to practice speaking regularly. However I'm a language student myself, so I also know that speaking is often the hardest and scariest part of learning a foreign language. So whatever your goals are I want to help you achieve them in a relaxed environment, and feel just like you're chatting to a friend. Please don't be afraid to make mistakes, I'm here to help you learn from them. I can explain why a sentence is incorrect and we can practice examples of correct sentences together. I'm excited to help you gain more confidence with your spoken English.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are focused on improving your conversation skills, so my goal is always to get you to do most of the speaking. I will ask you questions and guide the conversation along but I want you to speak as much as possible. During our talks I will correct your grammar mistakes and any pronunciation errors when I need to, but I may not want to interrupt you too much at first. If you already feel confident with your English, we can work more on your accuracy and reducing your accent. We can discuss any topics that interest you or work on any specific learning goals you may have such as preparing for a job interview or an exam.My teaching material

Julie is the best teacher if you want to improve your speaking skill. Having a lesson with Julie is not like speaking to your foreign friends who ignore your mistakes because they understand what you mean. Julie really wants to help. She manages to correct all your mistakes while speaking and kindly explains what sounds more natural. More than that, she does the best to make you feel comfortable during the session. Even if your ideas are not that clever or you said something ridiculous, she shows respect for your ideas. So sweet of her!
