I love Azumi-san!!! They are so good at picking up on the nuances of conversation & tailoring their lesson approach to their students' level of knowledge. We've been doing group lessons for about a year now and my Japanese knowledge has truly skyrocketed thanks to their guidance. I recommend them constantly!

Azumi-sensei is very patient and works with me to understand subtle grammar points.　　 Though she can teach in parallel to several textbooks like Genki, she greatly expands on important concepts that aren't covered well or aren't discussed in-depth in the textbook. I highly recommend Azumi-sensei.

My 10 yr old son has been taking lessons with Azumi Sensi for approximately 7 months. He loves seeing her for his morning lessons, and we really feel like he is making great progress . This morning as he was sharing his lesson, he declared "she is my person." Azumi sensi has a very real and genuine way about her, if a 10 yr old can feel a solid teaching connection over zoom. We love love love this teacher, I cannot recommend Azumi highly enough. She gives great guided homework, and even sought out Mario themed resources because my son shared his passion for the topic.

Both Azumi-sensei’s private lessons and group lessons are highly recommendable! I take various classes each week, and will continue to do so. I also love Azumi-sensei’s “Whiteboard summary” - After so many lessons with her, I have a very good collection of these PDFs, making it like a reference book for my studies, which is also very useful for reviewing past lessons!

I am amazed how much Azumi sensei knows about the Japanese language! In this lesson I was able to practice informal ways to say "I must" and "you must not". I love the fast pace of the class and they do not let me cut corners! Azumi sensei helps me uncover many questions I have about Japanese and takes time to explain as well as keep a document of what we learned so we can review. Thank you for another amazing lesson!
