Hi! My name is Anna and I’m a student studying ASL (American Sign Language) to English Interpretation in Ontario, Canada. Before that I went to school for Communication Studies, thus I have many years of experience both writing in and understanding academic-level English. I also have experience editing English professionally. I enjoy learning languages, reading and writing, and watching cartoons and Disney.

As a language learner myself, I intimately understand the challenges one faces when learning a new language - especially speaking. With this in mind, I aim to make my classes a safe and relaxing space for you to practice your English :)
I cater according to each student’s interests, strengths, weaknesses, and what they wish to work on. I will provide whatever materials are needed for you to achieve your goals, such as videos, songs, text passages, PowerPoint slideshows, or anything that will aid the student.My lessons & teaching style

I have taken more than one thousand classes on italki with different styles of tutors. Anna is the best one who is dedicated to teaching new vocabulary and idioms based on my needs. She also inspires me to ask more questions during lessons. Highly recommend someone who wants to seriously improve their English, not just have a general conversation. I've had many lessons with Anna to get ready for my future life in Canada. She is such an amazing person to talk to, our conversations just flow naturally. Also, she's LGBT 🌈 friendly, which is a huge plus for me. We covered a lot of interesting and profound topics during our lessons, and I always felt good after each class.
