I enjoy learning and teaching foreign languages. In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, hang out with my friends. Recently, I've taken up singing. I am fortunate to reside in one of the most stunning cities in Russia (and the world!) - Saint Petersburg. I have a fun, open-minded nature and a curiosity that extends to everything around me. I am always delighted to meet new people!

I always strive to create a relaxed atmosphere during my classes while maintaining a responsible approach to the content. I'm patient, talkative, and open to new ideas and constructive criticism. As a good listener, I create a safe and friendly environment where my students feel comfortable speaking. Encouraging active participation is always a priority for me.

Certificate - International Centre of Russian Language - 2020I took the course "Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (RAF)" at the International Centre of Russian Language. We had lectures about Russian grammar, sintacsis etc., about teaching different aspects of the language and difficulties that foreign students normally get while studying Russian and most common mistakes they make (and how to help students avoid them).

Bachelor’s - Economy of ChinaI got my Bachelor's degree at the Saint Petersburg State University, on the faculty of Oriental Studies, my major was Economy of China. I learned Chinese, Japanese, English, a lot of courses related to economy and a lot of courses related to oriental studies (history, philology, religion etc.)

Master's - Teaching Chinese as a Second LanguageI got my Master's Degree in Shanghai, China, at Fudan University. My major was Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. We had many Chinese classes, a lot of classes about teaching foreign languages, teaching practice for one semester.
Work Experience
2018 - 2021
Chinese teacherFor a period of five years (2018-2022, with an additional year of practice in 2014-2015 during my final year of studies), I taught the Chinese language at the Saint Petersburg State University. Typically, my classes consisted of groups ranging from 7 to 15 students, and throughout these years, I have had the privilege of teaching over 100 students.
Furthermore, I have been providing one-on-one instruction in Chinese, English, and Russian both in-person and online for the past seven years.

Thank you so much. It was nice to meet someone that can also speak Chinese (since i am also learning Chinese) but in this case, im learning Russian with Elina. Even though my Russian is pretty rusty, Elina helps me to make a correct sentence and finding the right word to communicate. Looking forward for the next class. And alsi she recommend some books and movies to have a better understanding of Russian language.
