Hello, I am Guo Xu/Gwen, majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and minoring in Japanese. Now I am a Chinese teacher in New Zealand, and I am studying for a master's degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in Beijing. I hold an International Teacher Qualification Certificate, a Putonghua Level 2 A Certificate, and a Chinese Junior High School English Teacher Qualification Certificate. My classes are suitable for all basic students, and my classes are more lively, relaxed and interesting. In addition to the knowledge in books, I also add some current knowledge of popular Chinese. I hope to build a relationship with my students that is both teacher and friend. I hope students will enjoy Chinese more and more through my classes!

This was my first lesson after not studying Mandarin in over 6 months. I was really nervous and forgot a lot, but she was super easy to learn from and very nice with her corrections. I can't wait to continue learning from Gwen!
