As a language teacher, I have helped several people to learn Amharic. I like teaching Amharic - it makes me happy when I see my student's progress through time. I give lessons by trying to see things from the students side. I try to make my classes as simple, enjoyable and engaging as possible.

My teaching experience started after I decided to get back to school and get my master’s degree at HiLCoE. Having an excellent GPA in my courses, the college gave me an offer to a part time job as an assistant lecturer. I was lecturing computer network (LAB) at HiLCoE. Furthermore, I have got an evaluation result of 98 out of 100 from my students for the way I teach. Since I have some skills of teaching, now I want to try to teach my native language Amharic on this platform.

I am very passionate and eager to teach and to also learn in the process. so, I will make the class our little safe place to make mistakes and learn from it, and to be comfortable and motivated. I am very friendly and easy to talk to and i will teach you as simple and easy as it gets.

On the first two to three years of my life after graduating from university, the first profession I have embarked on was teaching Spoken English. I remember my first class, it should have been terrifying but genuinely speaking my first class seemed like my hundredth. As a teacher I give everything to make my student perfect in their language. Because i am a video editor i cut clips from a movie and prepare videos for students to practice.that is how far i go for my students as a teacher.
